So I had my two roommates in the acting career but had one quit because it was just too much having two active sims doing that. So I had one quit to become a "YouTuber" using the video production table. Well...he's not making a ton of money off the royalties. Granted, I just started having him do it but I was wondering if a sim can build a career on the video production table alone?

My Sim gets a few thousand a day from royalties with only a handful of videos published. Once your production skill improves, you can edit them, add transitions, etc. to improve the quality and receive a higher payout. I also research which videos are popular and only upload them once their genre is trending.

My Sim doubles as an actress and a YouTuber and she's making over 1k a day in royalties just from YouTubing. I imagine if she focused 100% of her energy on it, she'd be making a lot more, but I just do it for the fame boosts.

Once her videos started being better quality, my YouTuber sim was making about 3-4k a day in royalties. You just have to keep making videos to sustain that. I've been a bit lazy about having her record, so now she's down to earning around 2k per day.

My youtuber sim also makes music with the new music making table. Also do you edit your videos before uploading them? That helps some. Also try promoting next video.

My sim earns about 5k a day just in royalties, so she actually earns more from making videos than she does from being a level 10 actress.

Update: Between her videos and her husband's music, they now make around 13k per day in royalties, which is way more than what they make at their jobs.

This may be a stupid guestion but I was wonder can teens be "Simtubers" as well?

Yes. I've got a teen doing just that, and she's already making some royalties off her first two videos.
