No deep snow is no deal breaker for me, so I'll casually disregard the no deep snow for more immersive gameplay that (hopefully) is coming for Seasons. If that's not even up to par I would never spend my money full price for that.

At least that's how I felt about CL when I saw there was no elevator animation.

Grant actually stated they wanted to be open on this, so that’s not fair.
That being said, I’m also disappointed there won’t be any deep snow, especially as the reason that it would be ‘sub par’ could mean anything. I’m no game designer, so I don’t know how sub par would look.

That's rather disappointing. It's not a deal breaker for me, but I feel like they should have been able to do it. Is it really that difficult? I'll still buy it because it does look like a fun pack, and it looks like they did a good job in other areas.

Well it's like how I make graphics; you either make it look just right or not at all. I can't just pass a messy work and say 'there you got it now pay me'. Simmers will complain if it's messy subpar deep snow, they'll complain if there's no snow, and they'll complain if the snow is just flat white terrain paint. You can't win here.

What if the holiday customization isn't all it is being hypes up to be? Would you consider it good if it is exactly like the Group feature from GT?
Just curious, personally I don'y like the group feature and I don't see the holiday feature pushing me to buy on release day.
