If I remember well, when Season came out in Sims 2, a lot of objects didn't get covered in snow too... and old trees too, I think?
Anyway, not a deal breaker for me. I care more about gameplay.
Snow covered everything in the sims 2. As I found out when I forgot a roof once and my sims bedroom got covered in snow!
That raises another question. Will that happen in sims 4? Will plants be frozen during 'winter'
