This is disappointing, but I really appreciate that they are making an effort to be more open and transparent than in the past, so I thank them for that.
I am not as bothered as I thought I might be, I would like deep snow but as long as the world looks realistic enough (roofs covered, snow effects, etc) then it doesn't matter too much to me. I also never liked hunting for objects on the ground in the snow, so that's one small upside.
I'm really excited for the gradual foilage change though, that's something we have never had.
