Seems to me you should be asking the CC creators. It is not up to the developers of the game to even keep CC working - never mind have the benefits the game offers it's own contents - that is up to the ones making the CC content. CC is totally up to the players and creators that make and use that content - period.

I don't actually use CC but seeing as some of the game content isn't covered in snow either I was wondering if they have to make every snow model so to speak in which case snow won't just fall on stuff like previously. With that I have to wonder if typically indoor furniture will accumulate snow.

I really don't know without seeing the data for Seasons. Your best bet is ask the Devs - but my guess is they will do recoding of all objects in the game to have the snow affect that should have that snow affect and all the CC creators are going to need to update all their content to work with the recode or the CC will be broken. That is what usually happens with every seasons pack. Even all outerwear CC will need to be updated or they will break the game or at least not work.CC users will have to replace all their content and mods affected by any recode much like they had to do after pets recoding of furniture.
