JA and Vampires

I think they can die of other things, too. I killed a vampire with poison from JA but I used MCCC.

Yes, they can be affected as well. I've seen it happen in my game.

My vampire archaeologist once died from... I don't even know what to call it... a lightning curse? He was cursed in any case, and I didn't do anything about it in time (I thought I had more), so he got killed by an electric shock out of nowhere after taking a swim in the Omiscan Royal Baths.

My experience with vampires is that they don't need to pee or sleep, aren't affected by extreme temperatures and can't starve to death, but other than that, they're just as vulnerable to environmental hazards as other sims - arguably even more so because the sun can kill them too. But if you give them sun immunity, combined with a teleporting ability that saves them from walking for miles through the jungle, then yeah, their lack of basic human needs makes them the most persevering archaeologists you can hope for.

I also kept a tent in my Vampire's inventory for sun protection, and got some supplies in the village for poison prevention. My Vampire only had two levels of sun resistance, not full immunity, and was traveling with plasma packs and a group of Sims (food, haha) mostly by night.

@MaggieMarley One is a household member, but it would be really cool if two of them appeared when someone really special dies.

It's would be nice to had poison immune traits/rewards, I do like to had sims a immortal and invincible without cheat.

You know, in JA some sims get attacked by Plasma Bats? I may have mentioned it earlier here or another thread, but I wish that these bats had a chance to bite you and give vampirism! Can you imagine the story potential, a daring adventurer braves his way through exotic jungles in search of treasure, when suddenly a swarm of bats attacks them and leaves mysterious bite mark! It leaves the sim dizzy and strange, and upon return home they big to change... into such creature of darkness! And like, either can embrace new fate, or live in misery, searching for a cure for this odd condition. ?
