Do this is TS2 and you'll get slapped and divorced and thrown out the house. Literally. Lol
TS4 'cheat' reactions irk me quite a bit. They get moodlets but it's not the same, it's just on the surface. A day later you can be friends again, it's annoying and I hope it gets an overhaul.

The cheating Sim does get (autonomously) slapped once after a ton of unfaithful activities including woohooing. But that only seems to happen if the slapper is actually angry or very angry at that moment.
They both even unlock a new romantic action "Excuse... in bed" after being caught.
@Keyenpeydee Maybe try having the guy directly look at the bed? That always worked for me so far.
And what apparently also works is: Have them both sleep in the same bed, but the girl gets up earlier to flirt with the other guy on the bed's edge. Her official boyfriend will immediately notice that. At least my Sim was that unlucky while autonomously flirting with the best friend of his girlfriend :D

I loved TS2 reactions. Drama for days. I just didn't like it how Sims would react to a cheating spouse's woohoo if they were nowhere near the Sim doing the cheating.
After reading a little story in another thread, about how the son catching his mother while cheating on the father destroyed their relationship forever, I actually decided that I want TS2. Sims 4 might have better graphics, and some other nicer things than in Sims 2, but the latter still seems to have the better stories.
