Jeb Harris - anyone else who has not yet removed his paper bag?

*** Please no spoilers! ***

I got the Eco Lifestyle pack around release, but have not yet removed the bag from Jeb Harris' head. I decided to wait until he grows up, waiting for the surprise - if any. I guess he looks good, but it will be cool if he had some reason for wearing that bag.

When adding his family to my online family tree I did go to CAS to take their portraits, and I also switched him into a child to have a photo for his web profile. I tried not to study him thoroughly, other than quickly snapping a photo and noting color of hair and eyes. But avoiding seeing his true teen looks is quite difficult in this game. I basically hate the sick and random festival/situation outfits - and the other day when I entered the Harris house Jeb was wearing such a random outfit *without* his paper bag!!! It just shows that EA tries to add "mystery look" to a character and the mystery gets ruined by another silly idea by EA that random sims shall wear random outfits even if it totally breaks a character. Luckily I noticed him from a long distance - he was of course in front of the house grilling at 3 AM (just like all my families do on my arrival, instead of sleeping), and I managed to change his outfit from the distance. And I think he was wearing a silly hat, too, so I don't even know his true hairstyle.

No, how about you, guys? Did you remove the paper bag right away? Or did you add a story to it?

Please don't reveal any details ref Jeb's look, keep this a *no spoilers* thread!

  • I'm keeping him in his paper bag for now. I really like that family. They're very interesting.
  • He is good looking tbh, I was just curious so I took off his paper bag

No story, I just didn't want to see the thing, so I removed it from all his outfits. He got to keep his bland clothes, though, but I gave him some shoes for some of the categories. Evergreen gets quite cold in winter, and I felt sorry for the guy.
  • Forgot to add that I have not really given him any story or reason for why he is wearing that bag. My only plan for the household is to divorce them, and probably split the brothers, too. In my game their granny, Francine is only daughter of the founder of the Grims Quarry, and as Cletus is her only child, she tries pressing real hard to make someone take back the Grims name. I'm not quite sure how it will unfold or how it will affect Jeb. No idea who might become the next Grims, either.

Haha, we knew he is kind of shy... ;)
  • I haven't played this household yet but he seemed good looking. I actually introduced descendants of the Grims and had them move into Pigulock Manor. I'm keeping Bess Sterling and the Greenburg household so far. I'm sure I'll get around to the Harris household but just haven't.

I did expel Tina Tinker but kept her as unplayable. I just wanted the descendants of the Grims to live in that house. Evergreen Harbor is going to be more for my next generation, so I haven't done a lot yet. I've had a few households move into starter homes. One household then had a huge windfall when the husband jumped to the top of the comedy career so they moved to the former Landgraab house in Oasis Springs.

That's cool! In my story Tina's household is descendants of the man who started the entire Evergreen Harbor adventure. Grims joined the party after a while, and Bess Sterling's household is rather new.
I posted an article on my blog long ago telling my background story: "The Industrial Pioneers of Evergreen Harbor" - in case someone is interested :)
