I think the build/buy objects alone are worth the pack.
I use many objects of this pack in every house I build, even in not-scifi builds
And I love the gameplay and the quests on Batuu, I wish we had more packs like this and Jungle Adventure
That’s interesting. I’d always assumed I’d never bother with this pack as I’m not remotely into Star Wars. But I don’t mind a bit of sci-fi/fantasy in my game, and I quite enjoy quest-type gameplay. So maybe I need to reconsider. (Even so, there are packs that are higher up on my list so it would have to wait a while.) And maybe I need to read this entire thread (rather than just the most recent posts) to get a better picture. - MaggieMae72762 years agoSeasoned Ace@Simmerville I think you will probably enjoy it! I wasn't sure myself how it would work. I played many Star Wars games with my grandchildren and enjoyed the early movies (have only seen the first 3) so I did decide to buy it. And I am glad I did! The B/B items can be used to build an alien town and Batuu used as a place to go back too for adventuring, or use it like in Disney World as a vacation spot for my Sims and it's a fun place to take your kids to enjoy it. I really enjoy the quests but have so much more to explore with it!
- Simmerville2 years agoLegendI must say Batuu pictures always get me hooked. I don't own the pack as it would hardly match my style, but there is something with the aesthetics that pulls me right into that Batuu universe. Perhaps in the future, in a different universe, I'll get there, too!

Anyone else find that the sim doing the missions doesn’t have to sleep and very rarely has to attend to any other needs? I always take two sims, one to do the missions and one to provide distractions, and the latter still has normal needs like sleeping and eating but the former didn’t sleep at all in two days, and only had to eat once!
Two reasons I can think of:
- The mission sim may have the Batuu aspiration. It gives him a bonus trait that refreshes his motives upon travelling.
- The mission sim may drink Batuu brew a lot. It gives a nice energy boost (also in the main world, if the recipe was learned, it's a staple for my college sims).- MayaRose11382 years agoSeasoned AceAnyone else find that the sim doing the missions doesn’t have to sleep and very rarely has to attend to any other needs? I just tried to take an infant to batuu, but I can't. Infants go to day care and don't even arrive on batuu. It kind of makes sense because there isn't much to do for them there anyway.
On the bright side: my infant could play with the ewok toy daddy brought home for her.

This ruins my plans to wear an infant on my back while I lightsaber duel in Batuu. This game is so unfair to me.
