i've had the game generate max level celebrities so I'm certain someone will replace her eventually.

The game always generates new celebrities. If you allow the game to fill empty homes, sims (even those not famous) may move into her home.

@Dannydanbo, been 4 sim weeks in the game and sims still talk about Judith when talking about celebrities.

For meet and greets, Dirk Dreamer has been who is showing up. He's one of Get Famous premade celebrities...but I never saw him at any of the events until after Judith died. He's also an elder...so just a matter of time now before he also perishes and we'll see what the game does for the next celebrity. He's also only a 4-star celebrity...so far I've seen no 5-star one's since Judith passed.

Funnily enough, the father in my current active households is best friends with Dirk. They are in the same club and have been since early in their life stages. Both worked in the Tech Guru career branch as young adults, which is how they met.
He's the first 'true celebrity' my household has been friends with, didn't have to do any of that attempt introduction stuff seeing as they became friends at work.

You can promote any sim you want to become a celebrity, like Bella Goth or Penny Pizzazz.

You mean just use cheat codes to bump them up to Global Superstar, @sennawales? That's a good tip if so!

Game actually did get around to making a new Global Superstar automatically. Probably been 5 or 6 sim-weeks since Judith died, and my Sim was at the awards ceremony when she saw her. Total randomly generated sim. If you're still curious, @dannydanbo, Meet Hannah Summers, Global Superstar:
