June Patch Speculation Thread 2021(Out Now))

Y'all want TS4 to be more like 2 & 3, well they had paid DLC made as part of the basegame. They both had Sims Deluxe and Sims Double Deluxe. After long enough, the basegame gets updated to include earlier EPs. That's the heritage of this game.

Gimme the hottub, the tents, the calendar. Cool. Make a Sims 4 basegame deluxe and upgrade everyone to it. Cool cool. Those old packs are old. Move on.

I’m hoping that they will put any festivals on the calendar, that way if you have any of the packs you can check your calendar for the festivals in each pack, and can plan for them. I own all the packs, but I have to write down when the festivals will occur. With festivals in so many packs and no pop ups for most of them, sometimes it’s hard to find them ( like the ones in Sulani ), and if you know ahead of time you can have your sim prepare fir them. Also like someone else mentioned maybe you can plan for events like weddings with them,

The calendar is very unobtrusive, you have to click on it to see it.

I like when they add new hairstyles or hair colors.

I wish the TS4 team was like the World of Warcraft team when it comes to patch notes - releasing them a week ahead of the patch instead of 2 hours after...

I only know that the big things to expect are the festival patch and the laundry list.
All other bets are off the table but I wish they'd continue to update BG hairs, there are at least two female hairstyles which just plastic compared to the improved hairstyles. Also would love the calendar to come in BG just so non Seasons owners can plan parties and see festivals etc

They teased a morroccan update in the last stream...no confirmation it was coming next so it's possible it's coming today or the August patch (the July patch will be pre cottage life and I can't see them wanting to overshadow the update nor the EP).
