To me, it looked too fast and odd, to be a helicopter. It reminded me of a fireball or a comet - flashing through the sky so quickly.
I tried rewatching a handful of times, and I can't tell. But maybe you are right. It's too hard for me to tell. :#
(And it look almost like the Sim was running for it, or hiding from....or I watch too many sci-fi movies, lol.)

That definitely seems to be one of the helicopters that roam around the world. The clip is on fast forward (speed 2 I believe) if you watch the sims running off you can tell he's moving faster then he would on normal speed. And he's running away from the storm that's come up on him. I'm guessing they fast forwarded the clip because the storm rolling in real time is probably a gradual process that takes a bit of time to get to full strength much like it would in real life but they wanted to show the full effect in as short a time as possible.

Perhaps it was supposed to be part of a story-line type thing?
(Helicopter smoking, then later you find it had crashed.)
At any rate, I can't wait until I am able to get JA, and eventually Seasons.
They look like they can make a bunch more story-lines possible... :D
