Keeping a guitar

I have no solution, but would love to know if there's one. This is so so frustrating with homework also... :neutral:

@DeadFishy don't know if it works with guitars but whenever my sims bike gets left behind, at some point I'll get a notice that it's been returned to their inventory.

@Starfree sadly that only works with bikes afaik. Journals, homework, instruments don't do that :<

Hm. My Sim has the opposite problem. Around his own lot, he may just leave them, but otherwise, he seems to 'collect' them. At one point he had upwards of 8 guitars in his inventory. The key might be to not ship your Sim to another venue while playing the guitar. Or to make certain your Sim puts it in their inventory, should they place it back on the floor/ground afterwards. Tedious, I know, but I got tired of losing all of the drones. You can slide it in yourself, if they don't. Just for the record, I don't have EL, either.

My sims never seem to leave instruments about when they're off lot. On lot? All the freakin' time. I generally just drag it into their inventory manually. It's faster than having them do it.

If you are not opposed to using mods then there is one by Scumbumbo called "Keep instruments in inventory". I have been using it in my game for quite some time now and it works perfectly. I know he passed away but his wonderful mods are still be kept updated by another mod creator.
