Kids Can Die in Sims 4!

Children can die?I always thought they would get taken away by Child services should they get close to deaths
Edit: checked the wiki and it says things children CAN do that younger sims can’t and dying by fire/freezing/drowning and eating that fish also causes it...that’s not something I’d want to figure out in my games but hey, free will huh

Apparently they can die from drowning and fire, but also from eating bad pufferfish maybe?

I knew they could die, though I personally wish they couldn't. I believe that children can only die of fire, drowning, freezing to death and overheating.

@CrystalAbyss1 they get taken away by child services if they have low needs or if their grades are too low. But sims children can die. This kid sounds like he ate some bad puffer fish so apparently that's something they can die from. They can also die from fire and by drowning. Not sure if they can die from the new Seasons related deaths or not but it sounds reasonable that they might be able to has anyone tested this with a child yet?

I personally have never killed a sim child but I have accidentally gotten taken away from me when I misclicked the end of the hunger by instead of the auto solve butt while using the UI Extensions Cheat Mod.

According to the wikia it says they can die by overheating from seasons

thats surprising. even in skyrim you cant kill the kids and its rated M.

I like it and wish they could die of more things. Not that I want to kill them but just so I feel like I actually have to take care of them.

Lol off topic but in Skyrim whenever the girl that bullies Lars in Whiterun acts rude to me, I always have to whack her with my sword.! :D

Hmm, could make that into a dark story, his mother, a successful black widow intended for the meal to be for his sixth step-father, but while she was in the bathroom after waiting too long for the food to come. Wouldn't you know as she washed her hands one phone call saying 'it was done' meant it was too late. It arrived, and her son wanted to try it, it was then she learned the black widow challenge was no longer for her.

Though really, that's kind of sad surprising too the only time I remember a sim child dying on me is sims 3 when the routing issues prevented Alex from getting out of the pool at his step-mother's leisure day party and he drowned. ....Or was he a teen I don't remember now can kids die in 3? If so then I'm remembering right. If not he was definitely still a minor.

Thanks for all the responses. I totally forgot about the pufferfish and yes he was in a seafood restaurant. I had my sim take his urn and I'm going to try to resurrect him, then adopt him and to never eat seafood again, lol.

can you still pay off the grim reaper to bring them back??
