Kids Practising Typing

Question

Does anyone else have a problem with the kids practising their typing skill?
Every time I try to get one any sim kid to practise typing, they type for about 5 minutes of their own sim time and then go off and do something else!!!
It's in one of the kid aspirations that they have to practise typing for 4 hours but they just won't do it...

Yeah I get this, it's usually to go and draw a picture on the activity table  :s  I've found that if I queue up a few Practice Typing interactions it seems to stop it and they just focus on the typing though which helps a lot (although then you have to remember, otherwise they'll spend forever more practicing typing  :D )

Also, you can leave a partly finished picture on the activity table.

I've found that after about the third time (in a row) I tell them to go type, they stay. Either that or (if I can) If I keep the focus on them for about 30 sim-minutes, they'll stay typing when I then go to someone else.

But yeah, that does get frustrating.

Or you could just lock them in a room with just a computer?Also, are you playing with autonomy on or off? That may make a difference too.
