Kind of annoyed at the scared emotion
Anyone else isn't crazy about the new scared emotion? If you don't play the new stuff pack, the sims just get scares for dumb reasons and start screaming at others. I rather have them go back to being...

It's not challenging gameplay, it's just obnoxious because I can't even play the game. I try to have her watch the comedy channel or do something else to give another emotional boost but it doesn't work because she won't do the thing I tell her to do.
That's YOUR choice - It's definitely a choice to have an obnoxious game, you do that - there's a lot of things that you can do make the game super easy, just follow the rules of the haunted house with the medium skill and seances. I don't understand why these kind of complaints even exist about things that are just about properly understanding how the game works.
Because some folks are more inclined to complain instead of just playing the game and figuring things out. Or read/watch a guide. I have Meaningful Stories in my game and although I've not played with haunted houses, I've yet to experience the emotion at all, the complete antithesis to the OP's experience. And I've been playing pretty regularly recently.
