Klepto NPC: stealing critical items from non-residential lots?

Never saw this before in my game: I first noticed a klepto sim stealing things from my house - no big deal. But then I notice critical things are being stolen from non-residential lots. DJ booth fro...

Any way around this since it's impractical to visit every neighborhood to make sure it doesn't have "sharing is caring"?

Until (if) it officially gets fixed.. not really. Your options are: start a new save with all NPC voting off to start, load a house in every neighborhood in a current save to repeal the NAPs then turn NPC voting off, or use mods.
