There have not been any reward traits added since Outdoor Retreat.. We have seen new traits in outdoor retreat and get together, new aspiration/aspiration rewards in or and gt but no new reward traits..It is kind of crazy, sims 3 had lots of reward traits ranging from always successful romance to weather machines etc. We need more rewars trairs and objects.

I agree. This is an old thread, but I'm bumping it up, cause even with the "new" 10000 point traits, they aren't really adding a new gameplay aspect. So, I'm gonna add some traits I might want/can think of, and hopefully others will chime in as well, cause I bet there's a bunch.Sickness immunity. Since sicknesses are now a thing. Get rid of those inconvienient colds. Loyal. Will never autonomously flirt or respond to flirting with anyone but their chosen partner. Treasure hunter. Makes it more likely to find rare collectables. If a simalready had that trait from the collector aspiration, this would stack with it and make it even more powerful.Iron stomach. Makes you immune to discomfort from eating bad food AND immune from pufferfish poisoning.Fireproof. Can no longer die from fire, and also doesn't get tense or panic around fires. And that's all I have for now, I may add more later. What would you like to see as reward traits?

Good point OP. It's another part of the game that's been ignored as time goes on. :/ I would love Elder-only reward traits (my signature has a link to a thread about that) which unlock based on how your Sim lived their life up to that point. It would be fun if maxing a skill got you a reward trait related to it. Especially if these were based on the idea your Sim had a "reputation" for being great at certain skills. You could choose a helpful trait and a more devious trait for each skill. Some examples:Level 10 Programming: That Techy Friend, where Sims will ask you to fix their tech for them but you get a monetary reward and relationship boost for doing it, or Hacker, where evil Sims can ask you to hack their enemies, risking a relationship nosedive and fine if you get caught, but big-time Simoleons if you are successful.Level 10 Charisma: Advocate, where your winning smile and charm can convince Sims to do things for others, or Manipulative, where your knowledge of human psychology gets people to do things for you.Level 10 Parenting: Mentor, where you are so well-known in your community for helping kids that you have a huge boost to your ability to influence young Sims' Character Values even if they're not in your family, or Bad Influence, where you've grown tired of bringing up the promising youths of tomorrow and would rather encourage rebellion and watch the world burn.Level 10 Singing: Star, where you are so recognised for your Singing talent that others are excited to meet you and may request songs (for a relationship boost or even as a commission), or Diva, where your renowned talent gives you more selfish whims and makes it easier to intimidate other Sims into doing something for you.

All very great ideas guys. I only have one. A cursed trait or unlucky trait to compliment the clumsy trait. The traits can then give a series of unfortunate events (kinda like the ones from the wishing well), cash loss, demotions, fired from a job, get sick more often than normal Sims, being caught cheating, have a cheating spouse, a spouse leaving for another Sim...die. Would be fun :naughty:

I absolutely agree. I hope they will expand on the reward traits and give us some more meaningful "game changing" ones. Like I usually get the friendly and observant one just because it gets boring having to "get to know" to find out the traits, especially when your sim is skilled beyond belief and it's hard to even find the interaction in the cluster of socials you get from levelling up skills. The friendly one is nice because they become friends right away but there isn't much else of value in the reward store, I use the youth potion and the lose weight one but that's about it.I really like the suggestions in the thread ^^

THIS. Reward traits are getting all sad and lonely without new friends to come out and play. :(

Another forgotten feature. Still bitter about the notebook. The City Living Recipes was a good conjunction with the notebook but nope. On topic they should add more, such as an less risk while adventuring the jungle. Perfect to thise who wanted to explore.

Sickness immunity is a reward trait you receive by reaching lvl 7(?) in the Doctor career.
