anyone having lag since eco came out never had lag before in sims 4 but having some now

I mostly have issues with lag in buy mode, but occasionally in live mode too. It's been going on for a couple months, even on high end computers. I know this because my computer isn't exactly cheap ($1200 +), and I've also seen gamechangers have this issue as well, and I'm sure they have good computers as well. So this is mostly a Sims 4 issue.
