Last name didn't change after getting married.
I moved two sims in together and when they got married, the female still has the same last name she did before they got married, and their child has her last name.

The only easy way to change a baby's name, for now, seems to be when they're born.
But just be sure to remember the last name of the dad. I forgot dad's last name and couldn't
change it! I was so annoyed! :s
