Last name didn't change after getting married.
I moved two sims in together and when they got married, the female still has the same last name she did before they got married, and their child has her last name.

Just patched the new patch did they "fix" the relationship bug by taking out the cas.fulleditmode ability? I had my sims married but didn't change the name just saved and was going to do it today and can't seem to do it now.
