I use my laundry basket to carry clean clothes back up from the basement. So it makes perfect sense to me, even if it doesn't actually work that way in game. Haven't had a chance to play today, but I'll see if I can fit a laundry room into the home of the family I plan to play tomorrow. Didn't leave much room for easy addition when I built the house.
