Laundry in the Weather
What should I do about clotheslines in the rain and snow? I tried putting one in a basement, but that didn't work, even after I deleted the floor and left only dirt.

- Like in RL, don’t hang them outside. Or yes get a dryer, maybe you can put it in the glasshouse. May be out of place in there but atleast it won’t get wet.
- I'm thinking about making a challenge where some families can't afford a dryer, though.
- Make a laundromat for when they cant hang the wash

My neighbor who is an elderly, has a clothesline and this isn’t possible in game(not real life), but she makes makeshift clothes lines in her home. Or create a laundromat so your sim only goes there to do laundry and doesn’t have to worry about affording a dryer.- Can a clothesline in the game work if it's got a roof over it, on pillars? Or something like that glass roofed thing from ... Get Together I think it was?

Like I said, though---some families aren't going to have dryers. And some won't be allowed to go to laundromats either.
