- When the game comes with surprises I’m sure his reviews will too.

Buying the rest of the Cats and Dogs expansion pack is exactly how I see it.
$50 total.
Actually Origin has C + D for half price. Not sure for how long.
Now I feel like a complete... well, you know how this forum is on those words. But I put off buying Cats&Dogs until Christmas when I knew they'd have a sale. They did. But now it's even LOWER.
I mean honestly. It's not like their warehouse is packed with extra unsold copies. It's digital code.
The more people who have Cats&Dogs, the more they can justify bringing out that kind of thing. I don't know when Horses will come out but they'll almost certainly come with extra C&D stuff too. - Cynna10657 years agoSeasoned AceIt's interesting that C&D is supposed to be TS4's top-selling expansion. Yet, it's frequently on sale. All of the EPs are. I don't remember this level of sales in any previous incarnation. Not that I'm complaining, mind you.
It just begs the question, if TS4 is doing so well, why all the sales? C&D was half-price at launch.
Hmmm...
Anyway, I love LGR's reviews. They're succinct and hit all of the most important points. I don't care if he doesn't show each and every swatch. Reviews that do that set my teeth on edge. They're tedious as all get out.
By the time that LGR reviews come out, I've already made up my mind about a pack. Regardless, I always find his reviews entertaining and informative. I'm most interested in the game play value of a pack. LGR does a great job of telling exactly what a pack does and does not provide. He does all of that without me having to invest an hour of my time watching all the filler. - I would prefer a bird pet stuf pack to this one tbh

Because they know theyre not worth full price....- I agree with his review definitely, he's my favorite Sims 4 YouTuber. I hate the fact that this stuff pack is essentially "add rodents into your game" pack but wasn't included in C&D because they can. The Sims 3 Pets Expansion had lizards, birds, and hamsters, and the Sims 4 has Cats and Dogs an extra 10 dollars for a rat. Crazy stuff. He didn't really say anything new that other people haven't but I mean what else IS there to say about the My First Pet Stuff pack? It's just admittedly bad.
- Cats and Dogs was on sale the day it came out for 50% off. I know because I bought three copies and gave the extra two to other people. But I did not spend 20 dollars on my pack just to have stuff added in, that should have been there already, for a additional 10 dollars. I will wait the 50% + sale. That is all it is worth to me.

Pretty much, yeah. At this point, it's a running joke. All but the most dedicated are simply waiting for the inevitable sale.
Again, not that I'm complaining. I'm all for goods that are possible to get on the cheap. However, it says something more ominous about the quality of the game this time around. In past games, the games sold themselves, regardless of the price. That's not happening so much now. It makes me fear for the future of the series.
If there's a future, there's always hope that things may get better. However, the Sims series looks like it's sliding into bargain bin territory -- the stuff you normally wouldn't care to pick up, but you'll get it if it goes on sale. Will that kind of product have a future? I really would like the series to live long enough to make it to 5.
Anyway, sorry for derailing the thread, OP. :/ "Katlyn2525;c-16385581" wrote:

If you're going to donate your money, donate it to a kid's charity or something instead of going with a fad to give it to animal charities.
I just want to know what's so wrong for you about donating to animal charities? I get it's important to donate to kids charities to... but animal shelters need help too, they do a great job and they need support so I don't get what's so bad about what he did :/
About the review... I think he is pretty on point. I can't add anything, all my thoughts about this pack are expressed on his review!
