Buying the rest of the Cats and Dogs expansion pack is exactly how I see it.
$50 total.
It's actually $30 right now. :*
Yeah, that's what burns. I paid $50 bucks.
I really should wait until things are half priced.
i never pay full price for expansions.I wait on sale after a couple weeks. "TheGoodOldGamer;c-16383410" wrote:

I agree with all he said. The small animals are super cute, esp with their nightclub / their own adventures. I wish the small rodent disease was harder to get rid of, like you had to go on a quest to gather herbs to make a medicine or something more involved than just the vet to make it more dangerous. I liked in how TS1 the genie was basically a nightmare lol id like it like that
That would get pretty obnoxious quick after the first two or three times of doing it, even more so if you have larger families that contract it.
I don’t have the pack but I was under the impression that getting contracted isn’t a random thing? (which I consider a pro) That it only happens when the a. relationship is bad, b. the cage is dirty and c. that they have to take the rodent out. If that’s true there is no danger of entire families getting it, that’s up to the player.
It only takes one Sim to catch it. After a certain stage of the illness, they become contagious and can spread it to the whole family (as well as any townies that stop by, though that matters less)."comicsforlife;c-16383430" wrote:

also the dont have to dislike your sims to bite there rats they bite even if they love you
Ah, thanks, yes, then it can become a nuisance.- GalacticGal7 years agoLegendWell, this review almost has me sold on it.
- I agree completely! This is just nonsense! EA (and MAXIS for going along with this) doesn't care about their users at all! It's all about taking advantage of us! Ugh!
They really should just end stuffpacks and focus on Gamepacks and expansions, that way resources can be allocated to things that acutally add to the game! - Lonewolf10447 years agoSeasoned AceI agree with LGR assessment of this pack because I'm eyes it is what it is an pack of recolors and multiple requirements to have C&D which in my eyes again is an strategic move on EA/Maxis part to get people to buy C&D. It is an risky move that could backfire on them. Sure the most loyal customers will buy it regardless of the tactic but hey that is on them and hope they like it but while I am an collector I will not pay full price on this unless in the future it goes down to $3.99 or lower.
- I mostly watch reviews for entertainment, especially LGRs. If I want more detailed information about the pack, it is ether Deligracy, or Sims 4 streams. That said - I have to disagree with the whole sentiment of the video. A game is meant to provide entertainment and if it fits the bill for a specific audience, then I see no problem with EA releasing this kind of packs. I also, do not see how people feel obligated to buy every single expansion in the franchise. Sims 4 dose great pack wise - it allows you to pick and choose what you want and do not want in the game. Unlike a big chunk of sims community, I was never opposed to stuff packs as a whole. Yes, this one included. However, I can see where are people coming from. The executives, or managers, did a disservice to themselves and Sims franchise, by realising the pack so soon and with matching furniture from C&D, to boot. One gets the vibe, that content was withheld from the expansion.
- I just wish his reviews were more entertaining to watch. He should've spent more time with Ralph, and he should have other gimmicks in his GP and EP reviews (more Duke Nukem Sim maybe?). At least when he blathers on and on about how it's all 'meh' there could at least be some goofy bits that make it worthwhile to sit through.
It feels more and more like a chore for him with each passing one. He should make it fun! Even a few Duke Nukem impressions thrown in as he talks about a pack and shows us his DN Sim doing stuff would help. But it's whatever. I got to see Ralph get tortured again, at least. Even if it was only a whole 5 seconds. :p
He has a real talent for being entertaining in his videos. Just not in this series. I get that he doesn't like the game anymore, and that's fine. But man oh man if it isn't a chore to get through sometimes. You'd think he'd want to do more goofy stuff in them just to keep his own spirits up a bit if nothing else, lol. - GoodOldGamer - watch out - we are not allowed to review the reviewer - so you may want to alter your post.

Oh I get that. It's about the content, or tone, of his review. It's not about him. I quite enjoy him, as a matter of fact. Any of his other videos (thrifting, or tech tales, or whatever else) is vastly more entertaining. Just wish he'd bring that into these reviews too, that's all. Like I said in my first post here, the review was rather dull and not surprising. If I already know his views on it beforehand, I'd just like some surprises, some more goofs or something, I dunno. :)- runamoksims7 years agoSeasoned Ace

I think his disappointment and lack of a real desire to play with this version is what shows through. It was pretty evident how he felt when he did his "disappointed" video a while back. Since no real changes have been made since then I wouldn't expect him to review any other way than what he's doing.
