Legacy Update Was Heartless

I'm also on a mac, so if it's the same as what happened to me then you'd have to go into the online store to search and download the Sims4 Legacy Edition.
It's like a new game so it might be empty like I found mine, if that's the case then go to Finder/Documents/Electronic Arts
After you click on the Electronic Arts folder you should see two folders
One for the Sims4 and one for the Sims4 Legacy Edition, In both of these folders there's a folder labeled Tray
Copy paste all of the stuff in the original Sims4 "Tray" folder into the Legacy Editions "Tray" folder, then restart Origin.
Hopefully that helps, I didn't have any stories saved so idk about that aspect. But from what I learned today that's how you get your game to run with all of the things you made in the original game (If your on a mac)
