Legacy Update Was Heartless
The update erased years of work… I didn’t even know it would happen until after it did. I can’t afford a new laptop but I’ve spent countless hours contributing to the gallery and now I can’t even look...

Same here. I even have a good 64bit PC, but as I refuse to use a Windows OS spying me out and using Linux instead, I have to tell the game that I own an old 32bit Windows XP. Because the current Origin is not running on Linux and I have to use Legacy Version (if I would tell I had a more modern OS I would get forced to update Origin to a not running Version. And no Origin no Sims). Installing this at least I was able to play the Sims.
Now again I get forced updates I don't even want. Why can't I just stop updating regular Sims 4 instead of being forced to use a Legacy Version? So I could play my old status quo and still use the gallery (at least until they change it's API).
Seriously, I really get angry with all this forced updates. 10 years ago I didn't have to use a Launcher to play my games and was allowed to decide by myself whether or when to install an update or not. I really wish this times to come back and am thinking about quitting playing games at it is no fun anymore...
