Even in the very same person (RL) each pregnancy is different. I don't think all Sims should experience a swelling of their faces, for instance. I had four pregnancies and only had swelling of any sort with my last child. Also, the nurses couldn't get over just how flat my belly was, just hours after I gave birth to my second child. So, some women are pretty close to what they were even after giving birth. I know of one woman who is now the mother of ten and she is unbelievably lean.
I do agree that the pregnancy symptoms are all too regulated. We need some variety. My very own mother, rest her soul, never once experienced morning sickness and thought there was something wrong with both my sister and me, since we did have morning sickness!
I really like and commend the Sims4 Dev Team on the changes they have made. I like how a Sims' bosom swells as one of the first 'signs' of pregnancy. As for how sick your Sim gets, have you ever noticed that there is an option on the toilet for her to 'throw up'? I believe they have left a lot up to the player, which I appreciate. You could simulate a very difficult pregnancy by having your Sim use that option more than a few times, if you desire. In RL I feel very sorry for those who suffer so. Kelly Clarkson is one who gets violently ill, to the point where she had to cancel concerts, both times she was expecting. If memory serves, the wife of Prince William suffered so badly, they hospitalized her.
I think they should have shown her waddle instead. I don't believe I ever leaned back, let alone as far as they have our Sims!

I would just be happy if they removed that ugly pregnancy walk that they do. No pregnant woman leans back that far when they walk. It just looks hideous. I currently have a mod to remove it. :D
