Lethal Heat Moodlet Problem

Same problem.
My glitch also included 3 other sims of mine, 2 of which suddenly had duplicate copies of each. Sudden mass genocide. Thankfully, sim I was playing is besties with Grim and his child was pulled in quick enough to demand his life .. 2 or 3 times. Grim left a pretty large cemetery.
Tried giving him heatproof. Had him floating in pool. Needed to keep pressing buttons to keep him there. Yippee! He didn't sink or get struck by lightning.
Sent him home. +99 lethal heat remains. No reset on him through CAS.
Deaths in 3 households so far. Not sure if I can save him. Going to check other houses that were present during diabolical.
