As a woman who plays the game, I am in love with a masculine looking guy in real life, complete with beard and body hair. We live on a 66 acre farm of which we own half. We don't actually work the farm, but allow someone else to do so. My husband likes to walk the farm with his walking stick as he has a bit of a bad knee. The other day, he found an injured raccoon suffering and came back for his gun to put the little one out of it's misery. He spoke to it and pet it before doing so. He came home in tears. So that is what masculine means to me.
Hunting is popular in our area, but clearly my husband doesn't enjoy it. He does enjoy the gifts of venison from those who do enjoy it, and we understand that the deer would become too numerous without it. He only shoots for target practice though, and has taught all three of our kids to shoot. I don't want guns added to the game though for other reasons, but archery might be a good substitute. That is popular in our area too. And for some strange reason, ax throwing is popular with my children. They get together with friends to do this.
My husband's job isn't a particularly "masculine" one as he is a salesman for a stainless steel pipe company, and he has contacts around the world. He loves the guys he works with, many of whom are skilled laborers like welders. I think the game often omits skilled labor careers which require training other than university. I would like to see more jobs like that.
