It would be cool if they drew inspiration from witch tv shows like charmed. I would love it if they had a power like piper where you can freeze time and move around and do stuff. (Would be super useful for teens who forget to do their homework until right before school and then they would have time to finish before having to leave for school) also it would be awesome if they could set objects on fire with their mind
That was actually a spell in the sims 2, it was the Highest Level Neutral power called Tempus Interruptus.
When cast, the entire lot froze in time except for other witches, their familiars and ghosts (ghosts are immune to magic in sims 2). Time would actually stop progressing, so the game clock was frozen till the spell wore off. It only lasted around 3 sim hours or so, but you could keep casting it over and over.
