Library Items Disappeared From Gallery

To the second question, no.

I had to do an uninstall/reinstall of Origin, and I never lost anything in the gallery.

Actually, now I'm not sure whether the advice was to uninstall Origin or to uninstall The Sims. Uninstalling Origin doesn't seem like it would do much. Will uninstalling and reinstalling The Sims cause me to lose anything?

The library and the gallery are two different things. You'll have to update us as to which one you're talking about before anyone can assist you.

I'm talking about the library that can be accessed by clicking on Gallery. I was trying to differentiate it from the Origin game library. But what I'm referring to are, for example, items I downloaded from the Gallery but have not yet placed in the game, so the items are only existing in the library section of the gallery. Does that make sense?

Anything in your library is stored on your own computer under Documents \ Electronic Arts \ The Sims 4 \ Tray. If you're missing stuff from your library it means the contents of that folder were either deleted or moved. If you have OneDrive or something like that, make sure it's not moving it around to another folder via syncing.

May be very stupid of me to ask, but have you clicked the "enable custom content" -tab (or what ever it is called in english) box in filters?
Only reason I ask is because I had similar problem with my library once, houses I had saved or downloaded were not there.. but they showed up after I clicked the enable CC tab, what was weird as I never used any CC for the houses or sims.

Thank you. I don't have anything that should move my files around without my control. I see that there are files in that folder, but I don't actually know how many files were there before.
