Library Items Disappeared From Gallery

Is anyone else having this problem? All of the Sims and lots I saved to my library (within the gallery) have disappeared. I have also posted this problem on answers.ea.com, but no luck resolving it so far.

Also, I saw advice to uninstall and reinstall Origin for a related problem. Will that cause me to lose anything else?

    Only reason I ask is because I had similar problem with my library once, houses I had saved or downloaded were not there.. but they showed up after I clicked the enable CC tab, what was weird as I never used any CC for the houses or sims.
