Life & Death EP: First Look Trailer!

I know this is such a weird and arbitrary thing for me to focus on, and it's based on a bunch of meaningless headcanon. But I like how there are different races here, instead of the usual white (even literally white, so they're raceless.) And I'm not even talking about it from an IRL diversity angle. Because like, the games have already made references to the player/the Watcher, plumbobs, and other ways the players' gameplay actions are justified and explained in-universe. So I like to believe that in-universe, locations in the Sims 4 world can have any race, as anyone can just be spawned in by the Watcher/player on a whim. Certain locations might have more people of a certain background, but there's nothing stopping the Watcher from throwing in some more friends because they REALLY wanted to play a Selvadoradian family in Mt. Komorebi for some reason. And because anyone from any culture could look like anything, everyone was normalized to it, and concepts like racism never really developed.

So the artwork on these cards is not only lore-accurate, but lore-building. 

Death is already in the game..so I need to see some new innovative gameplay( besides outfits that are redone or wallpaper)to even think about purchasing this EP.

CC has more options for me still...

The bugs in this game keep me alert. My saves are more important than an EP.... I learned from For Rent.

I am looking forward to the trailer tomorrow. I am eager to learn what the ep has to offer. What exactly do Life and Death mean to the gameplay. What kind of world will there be if there is one. What kind of clothes and bb will be there. I have a thousand questions. 

Oh boy I’m ready to embrace whatever is next! I can’t wait for death to breathe new life into my saves! 🖤❤️‍🔥

My sims do not die so perhaps this will be a problem.

But if the pack is more about fun and aesthetic I think it looks good so far.  I really enjoy lovestruck so if it’s fun like that I’ll be interested.

I started making a new save file, combining characters from a bunch of TV shows and movies and some of the canonical sims households. I've got almost all of my starting families in the game. I'm waiting on putting in the last two families until at least I see the full trailer. If they're doing some sort of zombie, I need to wait and I'll use the next few weeks to polish up the lots and finish up my spreadsheets for which new households I'll be adding when. If not, then I'll just download some lots, put the families in with the characters I would have made zombies just being normal humans, and start playing.

Meh, I will be at work when the trailer drops. I wonder if I can sneak off to some secret corner with my phone...
