So I guess the world is... vaguely European? It looks cute, couldn't really pinpoint it other than that.

After seeing this scene at 0.49, I feel "Romanian" in the city's architecture.
Then I went to check the city I knew and found that it is this city...
Brasov!

I have been informed that I can't spend all of October 31st playing Sims, I have to give out candy.
(un)fortunately, I will be waiting to buy this pack as the Curseborne Kickstarter also closes on October 31st, and TTRPGs take priority over video games for me.
But that's the only reason I'm not buying it right away. - crocobaura5 months agoLegend
To me it looks like inspiration for it could be Sibiu, but I think it's a mixture of different elements. In this picture here you can see the funny eye dormers. 😁 You can see them in the trailer too.
And the build style is traditional Romanian called Brancovenesc. I think you can mostly find it in the southern part.
The the inspiration for the fountain could be this huge fountain in Bucharest.
On second thought maybe the inspiration for the fountain could be this Fountain with Fish in Timisoara.

crocobauraOh, thank you for the more depth information!
So it's like Tomarang and many previous worlds, they collected many parts and combined them. At least your information can point out that many elements come from Romania.
I still open my mind to know more references if anyone can see more because I'm not European but Tomarani (I mean SEA XD).
Edit: Just found that you pointed out "funny eye dormers", that's cute!😂 - alanmichael15 months agoSeasoned Ace
By far the most exciting & promising TS4 trailer ever. I love everything I see. Only problem: where shall we find free lots for all those fantastic graveyards in every world???

The world looks like Romania.
I like build/buy, but I really really hope that fireplace comes in swatches that don’t have the carved skull on it, same with the grandfather clock, cause it would make them unusable for me, except in my 12, Grimmauld Place build.
The furniture looks really huge and thick/bulky though. Also I like the crow on a perch, though it’s probably gonna be like rodents.
Oh and that like and archway are intriguing.
The gameplay itself, I probably won’t use.
CAS : Not into it. I don’t think it’s super versatile. - BlueberryPaws5 months agoRising Scout
I’m most interested about cross compatibility in this pack specifically with animals, I’d love if our pets also had the option of staying in our household as ghosts and even rebirth 🥹

Okay, when the announcement about this pack came out, I said no way. Too much RL. Already have death, why would we need more.
I take it ALL BACK! I WANT THIS PACK!!!!! WOW, I am just gobsmacked!
WOW!

I am intrigued, I am tempted, I like what I see, but I still want to know if a) This pack allows us to play with Grim as a fully functional character (without having to use mods or cheats), and b) If this pack will effect any pre-existing Grim in our game and his relationships.
