Life & Death EP: First Look Trailer!

There was so much to take in, the trailer is three minutes long, but I'm so happy it is! As for the content...

I have no words. It's like when you're standing there at the podium at a funeral, looking over the casket at the faces of family and friends, trying to sort out your thoughts enough to say something meaningful that expresses how you feel. Only... 

No one realizes what you're really thinking. The guilty relief, the sense of a weight being lifted, the...the elation, because old Aunt Myrtlecranny the (not so) Great Granny who was always poking you hard in the ribs to stand up straight and rudely yelling to fetch her prune juice while her ancient tiny, blind yap dog bit the heck out of your ankles and ate up your socks while you were wearing them, has finally, finally let go at 113 years of clinging to life with yellowed and cracked claws while hanging stubbornly on the edge of an Abyss of her own creation. 

Oh, the giddiness of seeing her soul whisked off by the ravens to face the Grim (who I've been secretly beckoning profusely to over her shoulder every time he passed her by), the delight of a competent Mortician and a forgotten grave to kick her ashes into, after which I can dance like Wednesday Addams under a crumbling roof while I watch the moon eclipse to prophesize the portents of doom that was foreseen in last week's tarot reading. After which I can wade into the swampy waters amongst the misty willows and let my own spirit be free, FREE! At last!

This looks really cool! Can't wait to see everything it comes with.

A world with graveyards, a reaper career and some nice new hair, clothes, and buy/build stuff.  I'm sold.  What an easy mark I am.😲

I feel nothing because it includes the features people requested at The Sims forums.

So it makes sense to get them now.  I'm not surprised but I'm very satisfied.

As long as I can care less, I'm OK with buying that new and upcoming pack this month, but all I've been asking for is actual zombies.

Interesting! I'm particularly intrigued by the shining lake and that dark turquoise spectre in the background. It didn't look the right shade to be of the Inspired mood (which to me looks more light cyan blue) so does that mean a new emotion/mood is going to be added? Couldn't help but notice repetitions of that turquoise colour throughout the trailer (Sim's hair, that shiny new portal).

Ravens! Fortune telling! Gimme! And the soul journey looks interesting, too, might be exactly what I need for my Star Wars save with a certain undead emperor who cannot enter the afterlife. The way they placed the baby was interesting, can sims get reincarnated now? I don't understand spoken english that well, so what was said in the end went over my head. *heading to the blog post now*

Just funerals and graveyards I personally won't interact with if I can help with. Looks like this will be one of those packs that I will enjoy everything except for the main feature.

In the blog post it says that there will be Grief added. 

The trailer was very well done.  I am excited for the pack based on what I have seen in the trailer and read in the blog post so far.

Is that a picture of Nervous Subject and the Beakers in the bonus content photo frame? It would be nice if they came back along with Olive Specter and Ophelia.

It looks awesome! I can't help but think of the TV series Lost and the composition Life and Death from it. I can imagine adding such a similar story to my current Sim story with this expansion.

However, I won't be able to get the expansion until they fix the following three critical eye bug issued first: Eye shape bug, eyelids not closing bug, and the lighter eyelashes with preset eyes bug. They affect the appearance of the sims and they have been introduced in the patches just before and after Lovestruck. I haven't been able to play the game since because I can't take screenshots for my sim story, and I only use TS4 for my sim story.

I hope they get those critical eye bugs fixed before the expansion because I think Life and Death just like Lovestruck looks awesome. I would love to get the new expansion and continue on with my sim story. Please fix those critical eye bugs, EA! I'm excited for this expansion!
