Lifeguard Career Swimsuit

I was wondering that too. It's an awesome swimsuit.

It's been updated for Island Living and I checked to make sure the swimsuit is included - it is.

It would still be nice to know how to locate it in the vanilla game though, so I'll still be looking for that info.

I think the only way to get it without a mod is to join the Lifeguard career.

@loubyloulou that's what I'm trying in my game right now, but none of the guides for the career that I could find online listed it as an unlockable asset through a promotion or anything, which is mostly why I'm curious about it. They did say there is an unlockable beach towel. I could just be blind too. :)

Does anyone know, if you get promoted and get the swimsuit and then move to a different career do you still have access to the swimsuit?

Yes. Career outfits stay "unlocked" for the whole household once you unlock it. If you merge Sims into their household they can also have access to the "unlocked" career outfits and items, without even having to participate in that career.
