Lifespan

Do you have the game? Can't you just set the lifespan to short and see how long each stage is?

I've set lifespan to short and started playing. I have no idea how many sim days i've already played but i know that my sim aged to adult 1 or 2 days ago.

I was setting some stuff in mccc and saw in the mod that it was possible to set custom lifespans for each age group. So, i've changed the lifespan. I've set adult lifespan to 12 days.

When i got back to the game i saw my sim will be an elder 5 days from now. Because my sim aged to adult 1 or 2 days ago, it seems that the lifespan is 6 ir 7 days...?

So, i've read that adult lifespan is 21 days, i've set it for 12 days in mccc, and the game gives me 6 or 7 days...

How long have you been playing with your sim? It's possible that you've already gone through half of their young-adulthood or adulthood, whichever they are...

If you had the lifespan set to normal or long and you changed it to short in the middle of a stage in your sim's life, it would have changed to midway through the short lifespan, if that makes sense. It wouldn't go back in time. Hope that helps :)

I had set lifespan to short when i started the save, at the beginning of his YA stage. And I played adult stage for 1 or 2 sim days.

Then i changed from 21 to 12 days.

When i get back, i had 5 days left untill elder.

I don't understand...
