- Long, but I only activate aging during winter to simulate even linger lifespans for Sims..
- AmTk865 years agoNew AdventurerI use MCCC to have custom lifespans. For some reason I felt like I needed the ages to be proportional so in my game 3 days = a year so
Babies: 3 (0-1)
Toddlers: 12 (1-5)
Children: 24 (5-13)
Teens: 18 (13-19)
YA: 33 (19-29)
Adults: 87 (29-59)
Elders: 60 (59-80) - Longest option available,
But I cheat death with vampirism to Sims I grow attached to unless it's an accidental death like immolation or drowning I usually let them die from it. - I would like to see babies/infants, toddlers, young child/preschooler, child, tween/preteen, young teen, teen, young adult, adult, middle aged adult, elder, senior citizen. I would also like to see an actual calendar year, with actual months. Another thing I would like to see is actual birthdays. For example, "today is Corey's birthday, and he is turning eleven years old." I would also like to see non-binary sims.
- Kathykins5 years agoSeasoned AcePlayed with aging off since June -17. My first save was played with aging on long for about a month before I turned it off. I get too sad seeing my sims die.
- atreya335 years agoLegendI use mccc to set the life span to be double of the normal one. I think normal is a bit too short, but long is just too long.
- nikkiheathcote955 years agoSeasoned AceI do things a little differently, I have it set to normal lifespan but only age when household is active, I prefer this way as my sims wont age without me and if I want them too have extra time on a life stage I will get them too drink the potion of youth or have a evil sim with a couple of cowplants lol, the townies in my world (unplayed sims) aging is off because theres no story progression the townies just age and die without doing anything at all, I age them by cake on my sims birthday if they are friends or lovers of my sims, the only true immortals however in my game are really vampires ?
- Peapod795 years agoSeasoned AceIt really depends on my save that I'm playing, but typically I keep it on normal. If I'm rotating a few families and play with aging on long, too many of my sims develop all of the traits and skills and every one is too samey. It's boring for me if all my sims have all of the perks and I like them to be different and have different things based on their lifestyles or interests. If I'm only focusing on just one particular sim or family though, then I'll set it longer and let them complete more.
I have aging set to only active household though. Without story progression, I don't like sims to just die off before they can have a relationship, family, career etc. The only time I turn aging on for the whole world is if I'm doing the 100 baby challenge because my matriarchs need donors to keep spawning. :D - Long. I don't want my Sims to die of old age before they're halfway through their goals.
- evilyn_375 years agoSeasoned AceUsing MCC I play a life span with a custom setting that's a little longer than normal but not as long as long. baby and toddler are normal. Child +1, Teen+7, YA +11, Adult+25, Elder+4. I honestly don't remember how I came up with this but it took forever to come up with a setting I enjoyed.
