Lifestyle Brand - How do you keep it profitable?

My celebrity sim just started a Lifestyle Brand and I am beyond lost on what I'm suppose to do now. After you start the brand how do you keep it popular and profitable? What interactions are involved?...

I'm wondering the same thing. My sim never even made a 100 simoleons with her Lifestyle Brand. Updating it didn't help at all, and the only interaction for it I can find is to promote it to other sims, but I have yet to explore if that increases the profit you earn from it.
