Lifestyles: how's your experience?

I think they add a challenge, especially if your Sim is in line to get a lifestyle that you don't want.

My computer whiz is the only family member who has Techie in progress, so it's not broken.
The whole family has People Person in progress, which wasn't intentional but they have friends and talk to people so I guess that's fine?

The odd thing is that no one has unlocked Outdoorsy, despite the fact that they all live outside and only go indoors to sleep. Oldest son actually sleeps in a tent most of the time. He and sister just went on a near-100% outdoor weekend vacation. Anyone know what unlocks Outdoorsy?

I think that there's suppose to be a way to get rid of unwanted lifestyles in the game. I think that it's a life coach that your sim can contact to get rid of those. And I think that there's also something in the reward store that you can purchase that will also help get rid of those unwanted lifestyles.

I got outdoorsy by snowboarding and fishing (other sim got it by skiing). So perhaps activities you do outdoors (only)?

My mermaids get Outdoorsy + Energetic quite fast by swimming in the ocean daily.

As for myself, I have yet to see any sim have progress on Hungry for Love despite the fact they have regular romantic interactions with their partner.

All of my sims get the Outdoor Lifestyle... I am not sure why.

Did you have them all spend a lot of time outdoors?

I ignore it, mostly. Mine always end up with tech-related or family-related lifestyles because it’s mostly all they do.

Lifestyles are OK. Not amazing, but kind of cool.
A lot of my sims get the Indoorsy trait, which I guess means my sims need to get out of the house more :D
I had one sim get the Energetic Lifestyle, because he worked out a lot. And now he works out even more because of the Lifestyle.

Some of the Lifestyles seem either really difficult to get, or don't make much sense. My teenage sim got the Single and Loving It Lifestyle, even though she's only a teenager and doesn't have much romantic experience.

I was playing a household of 3 sims in a dorm at Foxbury and all 3 got the junk food one. Oi vey. It was okay when they were at university but when I moved them home to Windeburg and started making real food it was tense moodlets left and right.

On the positive, one of them developed the outdoorsy lifestyle and it’s perfect for her.
