I get these pop-ups when any of my played sims are doing activities that trigger them on the lot, even if they are visiting. I’m glad to have that level of control but it takes me offguard and I would rather it happen less intrusively.
I think this kind of thing definitely contributes to lag. I notice the game slow down and then a bunch of things happen all at once, like multiple chance cards for sims at school or work, plus those career phone calls. It’s like they were all coded in to happen at the same time of day instead of randomly at other times.
Recently there has been a new thing happening for me where it gets choppy even when paused or in bb. But if you click the ellipses where the save options are, do nothing and go back, it clears it up for whatever reason.
Exactly. Hey, that's a good idea. If it popped up in the notification, that would definitely be less intrusive than having the screen frozen.
