Yes - I think my infants only had a couple of days by the time they were able to situp. Might have been quicker if I didn't have triplets though....lots of tummy time seemed to help.

Idk how people are doing it with regular aging. I play with aging off. Doesn’t seem like enough time otherwise.

I'd be curious to do it with a single baby and no other kids - but I agree, definitely a challenge (which I love).

How hard is it to get infant milestones? So for example, if you were writing rules for an adapted 100 baby challenge including infants and you wanted people with GrT to get a certain number of milestones before aging up to toddler, what would be a reasonable amount?

Maybe the 11 or 12 "basic" ones? That's ignoring firsts and life categories, but covers most of the basic things an infant would learn before toddlerhood.

that comes once you have wiggled to the stereo a lot

I haven't played an infant alone as my family ended up having triplets - but I was able to get 20-24 milestones for each triplet. Perhaps 20 would be a good number and still a challenge. But this is based off a very limited play amount with infants.

I think it makes sense to get to the point where the infant can try finger food and babble so that would be the following:
Fine Motor: Reach, Grab, Toe in Mouth, Pincer Grasp
Gross Motor: Lift Head, Roll to Back, Roll to Front, Sit Up
Social: Smile, Coo, Laugh, Babble

My most recent infant (albiet a single baby with one parent dedicated to helping them) managed to get to that point around 2-3 days after aging up (I think closer to 3), which seems about right to me.

The Fine Motor milestones can all be worked on without involving other sims, and the social ones sometimes trigger from playing as well as interacting with sims of all ages. The gross motor ones will be the most annoying for a 100 baby challenge as most of them require help from an older sim.

It seems the time it takes to get to milestones depends on traits - my wiggly infant is speeding through her milestones at a much faster rate than her calm sister. She autonomously does tummy time now that she can roll over by herself.

So far I've got the following...
Fine motor:
- Learned to Reach
- Learned to Grab
- Put toe in Mouth
- Learned Pincer Grab
- Learned to Clap
- Learned to Wave
Firsts:
- Slept through the Night
- First Bath
- First Bubble Bath
- First Baby Food
- First Finger Food
- First Trip to a Park
- First Visitors
- First Diaper Blowout
- Peed on Caregiver
Gross Motor:
- Lifted Head
- Rolled Over to Back
- Rolled Over to Tummy
- Learned to Creep
- Learned to Sit Up
- Learned to Crawl
- Pulled to Stand
(NB: I still have the "Tummy Time" and "Practice Standing" activities so I think there's at least one more in this category still?)
Social:
- First Smiled
- Learned to Coo
- Learned to Laugh
- Learned to Blow Raspberry
- Learned to Babble
- Learned t Blow Kiss
- Learned Peek-A-Boo
- Said First Word

Less than 30s after posting the above comment I got "Learned to Dance" in Gross Motor as well

I have a total of 33 for my 1st infant. I'm wondering if that's everything but, like Charlaine2124, I am stumped as to why I still see a medal icon next to the Practice Standing and Tummy Time Together interactions. Practice Crawling was the only other one I noticed to have that, and once my infant got the milestone the whole interaction disappeared. I've been trying them with her repeatedly but haven't gotten anything new so far...
