The patch notes do say they're not done working on the bunk beds. So hopefully we'll see improvements next month. :)
Yeay! More stuff that will be improved at a later point but was released before being finished for what reason exactly?
Because they literally couldn’t make an announcement or release dlc without a bunch of all caps shouting
I’m guessing they’ve been working on these for a fairly long time, and likely would’ve liked a couple more months to perfect them but they were beginning to face a choice between that and being boiled alive, so there you go.
@Pamtastic72 It's not like they had a knife to their throat and needed to release immediately to avoid getting killed. People were requesting them in the comments which they can ignore as they have done for years now. They were not forced by anyone and as a major company they should know better than to release a new feature while claiming "its not finished though". Then just finish it and then release or did you just want to see if people would be mad that it's lackluster before putting in more effort?"Pamtastic72;c-17841440" wrote:"SimmerGeorge;c-17841393" wrote:"alexspoom13;c-17841144" wrote:

I’m pretty sure it’s no simple feat to blend the climbing animation with a brand new animation-crawling, and the climbing under the covers animation and make it as smooth and seamless as it is.
Wow! A new animation! Meanwhile previous Sims games were so loaded with animations even for little easter eggs not a lot of people would see. But it's so crazy that a huuuuuge company with a massive amount of budget made one new animation.
Then go play a previous sims game. I have S3, I play S3. It not the utopian paradise of game everyone is always carrying on about. It’s truly not the be all end all of games. It’s. Just. Okay. To be perfectly honest. Build mode is endlessly frustrating. I can’t live in world A and have friends or family in world B. Venues are generally ghost towns, there are very few sims in the streets when I go out. Half the time I rage quit because it’s just not fun for me.
Is 4 perfect no, are there improvements I want to see? Yes, do I think many if not all of those improvements will be made? Yes. I really do yes, because I believe the dev team is trying with their whole heart and soul to not only improve the new content but to also improve the base game. But it’s going to take time, and call me crazy, but I am pretty convinced at this point that this is the reason they did the 64 bit update. I think that was the first step because it honestly seems to me that that’s when the base game improvements really got going. They said today there are years ahead. I’m in for the long haul. Sims 3 pretty much stinks in my opinion and I likely won’t play it much if at all, and I have no interest in 5 if the rumors about online multiplayer are true.
@Pamtastic72 I don't see how the Sims 3 suddenly fits into this discussion. I never mentioned it nor did I say it's perfect. I would critize the Sims 3 the same way I do with the Sims 4 you better believe.
I'm sorry but when I paid for this game 7 years ago to get improvements now is just not good enough. It's not a good thing imo to develop the core of the game after the game has launched. It's unproffessional, lazy and greedy and we all know just how much money the people making this game have.
A first step to make improvements to the game 5, 6, 7 years later. Really? Am I missing something, how is that not worth being called out? They have so many resources available to them, they should be investing in the game big time. The changes that we have gotten so far are so basic and easy to execute and are also lazily done with little thought to them and without testing how new features will work with all the different DLC they have released, hence the literally hundreds of bugs (Been to AnswersHQ lately?)
Call me crazy but I don't see no passion, heart and soul in a team that fails to playtest their builds, packs and new features before releasing them. If you see passion there then be my guest, but I see none.
