Sounds like an awesome story.

Give the first two solider type traits like Active, Bro, Hot headed, Self assured. You could always go Mean, Loner…. or go solider for two traits and give them individuality with the third?


Alien C could be secretly clumsy, squeamish…. music lover (romantic music and movies?). Vegetarian and he doesn’t want to kill anything?
