I noticed that. There were a lot of times where I didn't reply but I did a like on some posts.
I think I'll save my reading time on the forums for night time. The white is really hurting my eyes. At night time the windows settings in my computer will make it darker.😝
My phone does the same with Samsung Internet.
Sul Sul everyone! It'd Mr. Plumbob from the old forum! (Phew, glad they had a plumbob avatar, or I might’ve had to change my username lol)
Lets not forget that this forum is a few months behind, so go remember to save anything past that, or that wasn’t moved over from the old one before it disappears!

I know, right? With the limited avatars we've got, there's no way to tell who-is-who at a glance.

Hi all! I used to go by name musteni on the old forum, but I've decided to use simsimsere now. It makes sense as that's my blog and social media nick as well.

I apologize in advance if someone's mentioned this already. I'm still mastering my technique for making sure I've read all the messages in a thread, so I probably missed it.
Having "Most Liked" posts as the default option when a thread loads probably works really well for a tech support thread. I don't like it as much on a conversational thread like this one. I know I can change the order manually, and I do...but it seems to ALWAYS default back to "Most Liked."
EDIT: I might have found the workaround, in a post by the eminent Seasoned Vanguard, alanmichael1 .
On an unrelated, somewhat poignant point, I made a couple of the very last posts on the old forum. I'll always have that. 😊
Agreed. Every time a forum is sorted by Most Likes, inevitably, there will be 1-3 top posts that go straight to the top, while everything else gets buried to the bottom. Those people will never stand a chance.
Hopefully, at a minimum, we can change the default sort order.

it's like someone decided some other forum structure was better, where all the cool kids hang out, and decided to copy it without any regards to how simmers use the forums.
I think there is no top ten activity placing. I think that's probably for the best.
That is really something I am very glad is gone. 🙂
