Pictures in the screenshots folder and those on the walls in game, unfortunately, have no direct link of any kind after being created. I don't keep anything in the screenshots folder, I clear the folder out after updloading the images to my Tumblr. It's not necessary to keep them around.
That said, if you still have the originals in the screenshots folder, you could get the ones you are most attached to back into your game with Sims 4 Studio.
