@ModerateOsprey, there are some good Youtube tutorials on doing it, and also some 'text and image only' walkthroughs over on the Sims 4 Studio forums. I'm not a fan of watching a video to learn how to do something, but when I wanted to learn how to do this same thing I couldn't find any good tutorials that weren't videos.
Here are two of them, where you make clones of any painting you choose with your own custom images, which is how I've brought screenshots back into the game in the past:

The advantage of doing it this way is that they are gauranteed to be preserved, forever and ever. Until you delete your custom package file from your mods folder at least. :lol:
