"Lot not complete" error

Hi All,

I built a community lot in Sulani and put all the required objects on the lot. However, the community board was "X'd" out as a debug item. This is a known issue, so I followed the 'fix' by opening showhiddenobjects and putting one of the community boards up on the lot. It was able to be placed, the lot requirement fulfilled (and there are no other lot requirements I missed), the lot seems to work ok, nothing disappears when I save it. But, when I do save it a notification pops up that "The lot is not complete, are you sure you want to leave it." (paraphrased). I click to confirm I want to save and leave and it lets me save. Nothing seems to be amiss except getting that error. I clicked the 'me too' on the report for the original community board bug and I've not been able to find anything else about it. tldr: Anyone else getting it or having problems from it?

  • Did you put the community board on all of the lots? ie. marketplace, maker space, community garden.
  • Maybe that is what I'm doing wrong... so, it's a maker lot. It doesn't have gardening items or sales items on the lot. Do I have to make it all 3 types in one lot for it to work? The lot in EL when it placed after voted in only has one board, but I didn't look at it in build mode to see if it has all 3 lot types in one. It seems to be a garden lot only.

Looking at my Sulani lot it has the Garden and Marketplace lot type with the 'not done' red sign, and the Community Lot and Maker Lot are complete.
  • You need to click on each lot type during build mode in the top left panel. Each one will tell you which items are missing.

You can either make one lot have everything on it and copy it into each lot slot or have different lots for each individual one.

But they must all be complete otherwise you will get the not complete message.

Thank you, that's exactly what my issue is then.
  • @elanorbreton : That worked, thanks again. If I keep it on the Community Space and not market/garden/maker I can do all 3 together so that is perfect.
