Lovestruck worth it on sale?

Do you guys think lovestruck is worth getting on sale?

I am doubting because I don't see myself using the blind date feature. I like to match up my sims couples myself. I  do occasionally send my couples on dates , mostly restaurants.

What I do like about the pack is the world, some of the cc and build/buy. The woohoo rug and costumes look fun. Is there anything else that's worth mentioning?

Getting lovestruck will mean adding another must have mod, specifically to disable romantic satisfaction decay for households I am not playing. Lumpinou has a few options to achieve this.

  • This plus the vibrating heart shaped bed. Also sims can share their first kiss on the bear rug and romantic blanket.

Your first question is just dependent on the person. If you see yourself using a lot of what' in this pack? Then yeah, if not or not going to contribute a lot to your gameplay? Then don't get it. Sales can make it worth it less you're really not gonna use a lot of the pack at all then you just spent $20 on CAS and build/buy.  Why I felt like Horse Ranch was maybe at best a game pack than a expansion, since outside of horses there's not much else besides nectar and nectar making.

My sims are often going on dates more often or using the dating app to go on blind dates (which some are pretty funny to do.) The new romance options and the sweetheart boxes probably my favorite in the pack.

Nothing too intrusive. Might see couples stargazing on certain lots on a bench and being romantic (forgot if this was tied to a lot trait or not), but nothing I won't notice a lot of less there's a bunch of benches around like say a park or something. Game is focused on love, dating and turn ons/turn offs. What I do find good about the gameplay feature in attraction is that sims don't seem to flirt or be interested in sims they are unattracted to. Remember long time back I was frustrated with sims flirting with anyone, but with more established preferences it doesn't happen and they usually reject any advances if a another sim is interested in them.

Would invest in a new computer/laptop eventually. I did some years ago and haven't looked back with faster processor and graphics card to handle this game and a lot more. Even if they were to come out with the next installment of the game it's more than likely gonna demand higher specs for the game to which investing in a new computer would be good. Least that's how I feel.

  • I haven't purchased Lovestruck yet.  The attractive system in this pack is a total letdown.  Attraction is based on many factors and appearance is one of them.  Yet, the attractive system in Lovestruck does not include the ability to select physical CAS preferences as an option.   WonderfulWhims does a far superior job at its attractive system because physical characteristics can be selected.

If Lovestruck cannot be won in a giveaway, it will be worth it when the pack is on sale for 50% or 70% off.

  • I got it as part of a bundle when I could finally do that. I think it was worth it. My main focus when I buy packs is BB and the world. I'm happy with what Lovestruck has, so it's worth it just for that for me.

I didn't think I'd use much of the gameplay, but I found that using the turn ons and turn offs really has come in handy (even if it's missing some things). I like the new interactions the pack added. I definitely didn't think I'd use Cupid's Corner and probably still won't often, but I did end up using it for a Sim and had fun with it.

My only complaint so far is attraction, which is buggy at the moment. The attraction between my Sims changes on a daily basis, (unknown, neutral, low, high) even though I didn't change anything about them or their behavior towards each other. We have the ability to turn off attraction towards other Sims who are not in the relationship, but not towards the Sims in the relationship. So we just have to put up with it until they fix it. It hasn't negatively impacted gameplay, it's just annoying.

  • I'm still waiting for it to go to 50%. The world is fairly nice, and there are some smaller components I want to have eventually (the picnic blanket, the new interactions, some of the B/B & CAS), but I have very little interest in the new gameplay.

  • The pack needs more tuning. As in, a sim shouldn't have a hobby as a Like but have the same hobby as a Turn Off. It's kind of weird sometimes.

Also, if you're playing on PC, definitely get the pack: the world is pretty, CAS is cute, but also play with a mod that slowers relationship decay lol, it'll save you some grey hair.
